Brian J. Phillips, LIA joined Viveiros Insurance Agency in 1988. A graduate of Thomas College, he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management and a Minor in Computer Information Systems. Brian served as a Staff Sergeant in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during the Gulf War and is a Life Member of the VFW.
Brian has serviced hundreds of businesses and individuals with his extensive expertise in all areas of insurance, risk management and financial services. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Licensed Insurance Advisers and the Bristol County Estate Planning Council.
Brian was recognized by Strathmore’s Who’s Who as Insurance Professional of the Year in 2010. Brian currently serves on the Agent’s Advisory Councils of Utica National Insurance Group, State Auto Insurance Companies and Preferred Mutual Insurance. In the past he has served on Advisory Councils for Arbella Insurance and the Hartford.
Over the years Brian has been generous in volunteering his time. He is a former board member of Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts, the Southcoast Agent’s Association and the Westport VFW. He has also coached youth baseball and soccer in the area.
In his spare time Brian enjoys golf, fishing and skiing. He resides in Westport with his wife Earleen and children Nicholas and Samantha.
